Our Managing Director Mr. Mohamed Raaidh has participated in the official launching ceremony of the first ever edition of the magazine, Moji Maldivi Revija 2022 held at Ljubljana, Solvenia on 28th February 2022. The premiere issue of this magazine was launched by the former Minister of Environment of Slovenia, Mr. Janez Podobnik, and was attended by travel agencies, media personals and influencers of Slovenia as well.
Along with the Managing Director of MITDC, Mr. Mohamed Raaidh, the Founder of Maldives Halal Travel, Dr. Hussain Sunny Umar was invited as Special Guests to the Inaugural of the Magazine. Mr. Raaidh in his speech spoke of the positive impact on the tourism sector with the tourism diversification. He further highlighted “Savaadheeththa Dhathuru” the international yacht rally conducted by MITDC in efforts to introduce Heritage & Cultural Tourism to the tourism industry of the Maldives. Additionally, Mr. Raaidh spoke of the Home Stay Tourism, where with its introduction to the tourism sector opens up further opportunities for millennials and mid-market travelers to see Maldives’ rich culture and cuisine and experience the true Maldivian ways of life.
The Managing Director of Moji Maldivi, Ms. Aishath Nuzuha launched the magazine to provide the latest information on news, packages, unique attractions, exclusive offers that Maldives has to offer. She stated that the magazine is in Slavic, the local language of Slovenia, in order to “give the potential travelers a knowledge book they can rely on when planning travel to Maldives.” Speaking at the event, she further added that their vision is “that Maldives is targeted across all segments worldwide even to the smaller and niche markets.”
Moji Maldivi expressed their utmost gratitude to MITDC and MMPRC for the participation in this grand event, and aiding in marketing and promoting the destination in that part of the world as well.
